The ICE ® is a selected pheno out of a Skunk Special X White Widow cross, back in '96. She was selected out of 500 females, because she had best of both sides. The enormous buds of the Skunk Special, the rich coverage and power of the White Widow, with an Indica look. During the High times Cup of '98, the highest THC-levels were measured in the ICE. This strain has been undergoing constant changes for 15 years now; higher flower rate, sugared buds, fewer and thinner leaves resulted in higher yields in a sea of green. Yet still the same strong product, with the original Northern Light smell and taste. Strong Indica stone. Flowering time: 8 weeks Harvest outdoors: end of October Yield: Average White Widow made its breakthrough in the mid 90's with its buds so full of resin that it looks sugared, with a tremendous knock-out stone. Unfortunately it was a low yielding strain. During the last 7 years we succeeded to increase it to a medium yielding strain without losing its tremendous character. From all the Skunk-varieties that are on the market right now, we selected a fast producer of enormous buds with a strong skunk aroma and a heavy buzz. Skunk special is quite a stable strain with a little variety between the individuals. First successful Indica/ Sativa crossing, a sea of green plant. Flowering time: 7 - 8 weeks Harvest outdoors: end of October Yield: Maximum For Sativa lovers, we chose one with a cinnamon smell and exceptional buzz. This is based on a rare Jack Herer phenotype and can be put under 12/12 hours after one week. Maximum yields indoors are possible, by putting the best flowering individuals together (6-7 out of 10). Please note they do reach height! (approx. 1.5m). Perfect performance outdoors amongst orange or olive trees. 90% Sativa. Flowering time: 9 weeks (90%) Harvest outdoors: Mid October (Mediterranean) Yield: Medium - maximum This is new style Sativa that is early maturing, fast flowering and maximum yielding. Buds have a soft smell of grapefruit, sweet taste and intense tropical high. This is a 75% C'99 x 25% strong fruity Sativa, stabilised on early maturity for some generations now. Plants grow up to 50 to 60 cm, when put under 12/12 hours after one week of germination. More than 90% Sativa. Flowering time: 8 weeks Harvest outdoors: End of October Yield: Maximum It is our policy to do pure strains only and not multiple-hybrids, but for this one we made an exception to the rule. We used an indoors adapted Neville's Haze mother (well-known for its psychedelic trippiness!) and a delicious Jack Herer father. Maximum yields are possible by selecting the best flowering individuals (6-7 out of 10), after a few weeks. Outdoors would be perfect, amongst the olive trees. 95% Sativa. These outdoor strains not only react to a shorter light cycle, but also react to less intensive light. This means that they can flower well in the shade and even under 24 hour fluorescent lighting! In Holland they start flowering from the middle to the end of July. What a shame you're not allowed to do this in the UK, as they're lovely and would be ideal for growing in the British climate. Oh well, never mind, I'm sure the Government has our best interests at heart. This pure strain has its ancestors in the Ketama region and was subject to an intense breeding-program that resulted in a very resinous outdoor-strain. Flowering starts mid-July in Holland. Unfortunately it needs the Moroccan climate and soil-type too, to get the pure Ketama taste. But no worries, it's still worth the effort. Good outdoor/ greenhouse performance. 90% African Sativa, not recommended for indoor growing.
